Who is RuthAnne
Ruth has been a performer for most of her life and trained as a singer/dancer/songwriter as well as gaining much experience in the fields. Her jobs have included supporting Westlife as a backing dancer for singer Joanne Birchall, appearing in Corrine Bailey Rae's video and in a film called Everybody Loves Sunshine featuring David Bowie and Goldie. Ruth has been writing, recording and performing her own songs since having her daughter Tomisha in 2000. Along with co-writer and producer, Neil Preston, Ruth has been successful in the U.K song writing Contest five times. Ruth's vision "World Music Ministry" has come to fruition. Whilst continuing to get her own songs out there, she works as a vocal coach at Hamilton Street Methodist Church and a dance teacher at Save The Family. Ruth is Dee Team leader and a Sunday presenter for Chester's Dee 106.3 and has recently been taken on by Stark Talent in Manchester to do TV work. -

Training
After training as a performer at the Hammond School; Merseyside Dance and Drama; City College Manchester and Liverpool Theatre School and achieving a foundation degree in Community Evangelism and a BA Honours in Theology, Ruth aims to combine her strong faith in God with her creative gifts to feed Hope to the World through all the work that she does. -
Songwriting
Ruth's songs have been played on Juice FM, Radio City, BBC Radio Merseyside, UCB, Premier Radio, Dee 106.3 and Flame Radio and had 5 years success in the UK Songwriting Contest. Ruth has recorded two EP's "Make Poverty History" and "Butterfly's and Blue Skies" and her own True Story album "Divine Intervention". Releases include "Remember the Reason", "Feel the Sunshine", "No1 No More" and "Butterflies and Blue Skies". You can purchase Ruth's releases on iTunes and all major download sites (or see below).
